The story of Offrian began with a group of friends - Jordan, Mark, Corentin, and Arturo - who share a passion for the Loire Valley. Four individuals from different parts of the world who offered their time, skills, and knowledge for the sake of a shared dream. During their travels, they encountered the master of rum, Francisco José Fernández Pérez, known as "Don Pancho," who possesses a unique skill in the creation of rums. For over 50 years, he has dedicated his expertise to research, development, and the creation of exceptional rum varieties.
In 2014, Arturo presented him with the Offrian project, and he, captivated by the founders' energy, agreed to accompany the project, leading to the creation of OFFRIAN RUM.
OFFRIAN, in Old English, means "to offer." This illustrates the mysterious and poetic process known as "the angels' share." According to legend, angels visit wine cellars and take a portion of the alcoholic beverage from the barrels, which is returned to Earth as an offering.
This evaporation process occurs throughout the entire maturation period of rum and is one of the highest in the world in Panama. This natural phenomenon is essential and contributes to the elegance, taste, and sophistication of our nectars
Offrian 8, 12, and 18-year-old rums are distilled in Panama and then aged in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels.
